[It isn't like Ben to get this worked up, enough that Klaus can tell through text that he's super worked up, so Klaus pretty much jumps to it. Before he even texts back, he's on his way to the apartment.]

[But it only takes about 10 minutes before he's doing that little 'shave and a haircut' knock on the apartment door so Ben knows it's him, and then slipping inside, locking the door behind him.]

Ben, Benny boy, you okay? I mean, obviously you are not okay, but how not okay are you?

We got him to the medbay.

[ No answer on whether Kieran is okay or not, or Pratt for that matter. How do you define okay, after all? One of them had had his hand kind of rotted by some sort of weird magic and the other had had his eyes gouged out and even if they're mostly healed, he's blind now. Even that Carlisle guy seemed really ill, coughing up all that black stuff. He'd stopped though - does that mean he's okay?

Ben is sitting in a chair right by the door, staring at it, waiting for Klaus. He is in his pajamas, hair still wet from the shower, and the look on his face is just pure relief, the moment Klaus walks in unharmed. He doesn't respond to Klaus's question in words, just gets to his feet and pulls Klaus into a tight embrace. It's too tight for it to just be a friendly greeting. This is so clearly a thank god you're not dead hug.

He had used his powers so much today, and the moment he gets to his feet, his knees are shaking from exhaustion, so much that just standing is taking some effort. But he had to - had to - give Klaus a hug just then. Feel that he was really there and solid and unhurt.

Knowing how to answer Klaus's question is difficult and he's going to have to explain everything but words are so hard right now, so he just says: ]
